Ajax boss Frank de Boer has told BBC Sport that Tottenham Hotspur have not been in contact in recent weeks.

De Boer had claimed in April that Spurs had made an approach to Ajax, but the Premier League club firmly denied that was the case although the Dutchman still maintained there had been informal talks.

However, although Tim Sherwood has now vacated his post at White Hart Lane, Spurs have not made any further contact with De Boer.

Asked if he expected the Premier League club to make contact at this stage, the 44-year-old said: I dont know. And I am happy with Ajax.

He added: If a club comes to speak to me, I will listen to them, but I am going on holiday now and that is the most important thing for me.

Roman Abramovich considers replacingMourinho with Simeone

Posted by: @femi4arsenal on May 24, 2014

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich isquestioning whether he made the right choice hiring Jose Mourinho last summer after a poor season at Stamford Bridge.

According to Le 10 Sport, the Russian oligarch is considering the possibility of sacking Mourinho less than a year after the Special One started his second stint in charge of Chelsea.

The Blues have had a poor season by Abramovichs high standards, winning nothing and finishing third behind Manchester City and Liverpool.

Mourinho has claimed Chelseas failing have been down to a lack of strikers, refusing to take the blame for himself.

Meanwhile, Diego Simeone has inspired Atletico Madrid to a famous La Liga title victory and could also win the Champions League on a tiny budget compared to Chelseas.

Needless to say, Abramovich sees Simeone as a potential future manager of Chelsea and could even offer him the job this summer if he does decide tosack Mourinho.

Not only are Chelsea failing to impress on the pitch but Mourinho has also made plenty of enemies off of It.

Chelsea sold Juan Mata to a Premier League rival because Mourinho didnt. ike his style and a similar situation looks to be developing with Eden Hazard.

PSG are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation as they would be keen to offer Mourinho the Job at Parc des Princes should he find himselfunemployed.{GMS}

I cannot imagine why Bayern would want to lose me. I just renewed my contract and we are happy with each other.

Its very different when youre not completely happy. I had a fantastic time with Van Gaal at FC Bayern and know what I have with him.

Van Gaal and Guardiola are the best trainers I have worked with. I feel good so will stay where I am. The chance is zero that I make the switch.

Chelsea and PSG Agree Fee for David Luiz | INFORMATION NIGERIA

Chelsea and PSG Agree Fee for David Luiz

Posted by: Omaku Cephas on May 24, 2014

Chelsea have confirmed they have agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for the transfer of David Luiz.

Both clubs were reported to be in advance talks on Friday over the services of the Brazil international.

A Chelsea statement later stated: Chelsea Football Club and Paris Saint-Germain have agreed terms for the transfer of David Luiz to the French club. The move is now subject to David Luiz agreeing personal terms with PSG and passing a medical examination.

The deal, which according to the BBC will cost the French champions £40m, would make Luiz the world’s most expensive defender.

David Luiz Set to Join Coach Laurent Blancs PSG.

A statement on PSG website read: To respond to the desire of the player to prepare and play the World Cup in his own country in the best conditions possible, the will of the two clubs and of David Luiz was to come to an agreement as quickly as possible between Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, on the one hand, and between the Parisian club and the player on the other in order to make the transfer official as soon as the transfer window opens.

The former Benfica defender is expected to sign a four-year contract, with a further year on option, when the deal is made official when the summer transfer window opens on June 10.

PSG have been sanctioned by European football’s governing body, Uefa, for breaching financial fair play (FFP) rules, in spite of that; coach Laurent Blanc has said he would strengthen his squad in the summer.

Luiz have been a subject of transfer speculations since last summer, with reports linking him with a move to Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The player, who was used as a defensive midfielder by Jose Mourinho last season due to his inability to break the defensive partnership of John Terry and Garry Cahill, had welcomed the speculations.

The 27-year-old joined the Blues from Benfica for £21.3m and scored 12 goals in his first two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge. He made 34 appearances for the Blues in the 2013/14 season

The 30 million pounds (then 44.8 million euros) Manchester United paid Leeds for Rio Ferdinand in 2002 is the highest transfer fee ever paid for a defender in terms of euros. PSG’s Thiago Silvas deal is the highest in pounds because of a change in exchange rates.

Chelsea will now look to employ 21-year-old Tomas Kalas and 19-year-old Nathaniel Chalobah in a more defensive role, while £12m January signing from St. Etienne is also an option.
